You don’t need to boycott elections. You can choose to not vote under Rule 49 O. This will be recorded and NO ONE can vote in your name. That is, fraud is prevented. This is useful when you don’t find any candidate good enough to vote for, IE like 2011 AD, and though a winner will be declared, you will be listed as the people who refused to vote. It’s not much. But it is something.
This is not a negative vote or a veto, rather, it is abstaining from voting. If only India were like Russia, where proper negative voting is allowed…
